Casting Judgement

Nah, not really.

Recently a friend of mine rolled his eyes as I told the Hong Kong Noodle story (see a couple posts ago), saying that I was very quick to use the race card.

Immediately, I fumed. What does a young, white, able-bodied male know about being treated as the “other”? Nothing! It’s pretty easy to say racism doesn’t exist when it doesn’t affect you in any way.

Anyhow, I thought about his comment, and then I realized, hey, he is not known for his good judgement of people. Well, not exactly, more like his judgement of women.

Girlfriend #1:

Faked food allergies

Cut him with a scalpel. In the stomach. He let her, trusting her assurances that she had “done it before”. Oops. Now he has a big scar on his stomach.

Girlfriend #2:

Freaked out when he broke up with her. Threw out everything related to him, moved out of her apartment, and cut ties with all friends he was acquainted with.

Interim Fuck #1:

Gave him an STD.

Girlfriend #3:

Slept around a ton, and lied about it.

Oh, and faked having CANCER to try to get him back.

So his point of view on people and their motivations? Probably not accurate.
